Christmas Season Events

Each Christmas we have a "mitten tree" on which are put mittens, hats, scarves and socks brought by members of the church. Just before the childrens' time the kids have an opportunity to decorate the tree with the items that were brought in that morning. Items are then given to the Salvation Army.

Wednesday, December 24, Christmas Eve at 7 pm there will be a one hour CANDLELIGHT SERVICE with Carols, Candles and the Celebration of the birth of Jesus. Join us on this special night as we think about the true meaning of Christmas.

What are you doing New Year's Eve? Why not join your church family by bringing in the New Year in the lower hall on December 31st from 8pm until just after midnight. It will be a fun evening of games and potluck snacks. As the old year closes and a new one begins we will celebrate the start of 2009 with a short worship service. So round up your friends and family and let's greet the new year together!

Flowers: If you would like to place flowers in the sanctuary for a special occasion (in memory of someone, anniversary, etc), please talk to Anne to place your message in the bulletin.
